efficient water use. Additionally, Fortune operates its own soil testing lab, offering expert guidance
to farmers for optimizing soil health and crop quality.
To promote healthy and pesticide-compliant crops, Fortune provides subsidized pesticide material
kits to over 3000 farmers and ensures they understand the proper usage through demonstrations.
Our dedicated team of more than 30 experts in good agricultural practices continuously interacts
with farmers to provide solutions and knowledge.
Fortune's commitment to the farming community extends to organizing annual farmer's meets,
bringing together thousands of farmers to discuss crop-related issues and solutions. We invite
agricultural experts to share their knowledge and expertise during these gatherings.
Innovative technology solutions include the installation of Alternate Wetting & Drying (AWD) and IoT
systems in crop fields, allowing for efficient water management and timely irrigation. Weather
stations provide critical weather forecasts, aiding farmers in irrigation decisions and disaster
preparedness.
Fortune has also implemented water measuring systems in canal and borewell/tube well sources,
enhancing water use efficiency and transparency.
Addressing methane emissions is a priority, with Fortune being the only company in the rice sector
to measure and mitigate methane emissions in crop fields, underscoring our commitment to
environmental responsibility.
Our support extends to purchasing crops from farmers at fair prices within 72 hours of harvest,
solidifying trust and reliability. We are also exploring innovative approaches, including pesticide
drone spraying, crop surveillance, carbon and methane emissions control, and providing farmers
with a one-stop solution for high-quality farming tools, seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides at subsidized
rates.
